Harnessing digital technology to improve youth mental health care
Digital mental health technologies are tools that can integrate with face-to-face mental health services to improve the quality and accessibility of care for people experiencing mental ill-health. As young people’s daily lives increasingly take place in the digital world, and particularly as they observe social distancing due to the COVID-19 pandemic, digital mental health technologies provide opportunities to ensure young people can access suitable, evidence-based care, when and where they need it.

Please join us on this free webinar as we discuss how digital mental health technologies can be harnessed to improve youth mental health care. Our presenters are researchers from Orygen Digital – a world-leader in the development and evaluation of digital technologies for youth mental health – and young people who have experience of engaging with digital mental health technologies. The presentations will include information about the research evidence behind digital mental health technologies, how consumers and youth mental health workers can navigate and use existing technologies, and the experience of using digital mental health technologies, as well as an overview of the recently-announced Orygen Digital platforms.

The webinar will go for 90 minutes, with the first 60 minutes dedicated to providing content to the audience, and the final 30 minutes reserved for questions and comments from the audience. Attendees are welcome to attend either the full 90 minutes or just the first 60 minutes.
